You Are What You Eat...
Fresh food and diet are the cornerstones of health, and what goes into our cats food is often not good enough and the stats prove it. Did you know that 30% of cats encounter kidney disease at some point in their lives. Over 40% are overweight or obese. While an astonishing 85% will suffer from dental problems, roughly the same percentage that consume kibble.
Ingredients Matter
Currently in the pet food industry, substandard leftover ingredients are often transformed into meat meal powders... These powders constitute between 40% & 60% of cat food products. The remaining components, grains and fillers, often lead to digestive issues in cats.
Extreme Heat & Processing
Manufacturing standards in pet food are different to human food. Typical methods that are used by many large pet food companies include intense processing of the ingredients and extreme temperatures when cooking & packaging, which creates carcinogens. These processes remove the essential vitamins and nutrients that cats need.
Prevention is better than cure
Kidney disease & CKD are becoming increasingly common, the links to their weight and diet is irrefutable. Eating the right food, with the right amount of hydration can prevent many of our cats from getting CKD in their older age.

Cats can easily digest grains, rice and other fillers
Cats are obligate carnivores, they eat meat. In the wild they hunt small mammals, rodents etc. domesticated cats don't get the same opportunity. It's important to mimic their high protein, low carbohydrate diet - meat provides this, fillers do not.
It's common that cats have fleas or skin issues
Skin symptoms can mean a more serious underlying issue, and should always be checked with your vet.
As to why it occurs, we know that improper nutrition plays a major role in many skin conditions. Diets with ingredients that aren’t natural to cats cause inflammation in their intestines. Since the gut is the body’s largest immune organ, persistent inflammation can have widespread effects, including skin disease. Many allergic cats develop skin lesions, and plant ingredients in cat food are thought to be a significant trigger.

Prescription kibble is needed
There are no medicinal ingredients found in prescription cat food. In fact, the ingredients are the same as found in other cat food...leading prescription products suggest it's the formula of how the ingredients are combined that helps cats with their diseases....
Kibble cleans cats teeth
Actually, it's just the opposite, chemicals that bind kibble together can contribute to an increased buildup of tartar. In the wild, cats naturally clean their teeth by ripping meat off bones; the physical abrasion of tooth against bone effectively cleans them. Cat teeth are intended to slice, not grind.
