Feeding guide
How much should I feed my cat?
Every cat is different. Use our guides as a starting point, then adjust based on your cat's weight and energy.
We believe in the 'monitoring approach'. Start with the recommended portions below, then adjust up or down based on how your cat looks and feels. It's the same way a good vet would do it.
How to monitor your cat's weight.
Feel their ribs
They should feel kind of like pencils under a blanket.
Check their waist
From above, you should see an indent behind the ribs. From the side, a slight tummy tuck upwards.
Touch their belly
If their belly sags, touch it. A loose flap when walking is normal. If it's firm and sagging, adjust their portions.
