Must knows about kitten food

What's the best diet for my growing kitten?

Kittens need food that is a high quality protein (fresh meat), good fats and with healthy levels of omega oils, calcium and taurine for their growth and development. CatChi is one of the highest protein foods, includes real whole ingredients and is everything your kitten needs. See our recipes for detailed information.

When does my kitten become an adult?

Typically a kittens rate of growth starts to slow at 9 months before they become an official adult at 12 months.

Review our feeding guides, to find out how much you should be serving your loved one (feeding guides).

Can I mixed feed dry and wet or fresh food?

We don't recommend kibble as a good option for kittens, it is high in carbohydrates and low in moisture. Kittens need protein, fat and water for their growth and development.

How often do I need to feed my kitten?

Kittens have smaller stomachs than adult cats, so their size and age will determine some of this. Once they've finished their weening (8 weeks) you'll typically be feeding them 3 times per day.

How much do I need to feed my kitten?

This depends on a few factors, mainly their age, size, activity levels and expected weight as an adult cat. Kittens need a proportionally larger number of calories than an adult cat of the same size. See our feeding guides for detailed information.

With CatChi do I need to switch to an adult cat food?

No, our food is perfectly balanced for all life stages.
